Bucket List for 2019
Late October is a bit of a strange time to be making a bucket list for the year ahead, but there are so many things that I would love to do that I want to start my list early this year. It always takes a couple of months for me to come up with a full list of the things I would like to achieve the next year, so this is my first draft! As the new year draws closer I will be adding to this list and will post an update of the full list nearing the end of December.
Finish one module of my university course – I am starting Open University in February so this is (hopefully) a realistic goal. I left 6th form in August 2017 so after a year and a bit out of education I thought it was time to get back to it and start my degree in Psychology and Criminology.
Visit DisneyLand Paris with my boyfriend – This sounds like a cheesy one, but I would love to go back and visit to show my boyfriend the magic of Disney!
Buy a house/start looking at buying a house – Next year, I would like to be able to buy a house with my boyfriend. This isn’t quite as straight forward as some of the others, but its one I really want to work for.
Perform in a show – This is something I have done for the past few years, either with 6th form or with a local amateur dramatics group. This year was the first time I had a principal role and I would love to step up and do the same again next year.
Read at least 20 books – Since leaving 6th form I have not really read at all and it is something that I would really love to get back into.
Declutter and reduce – One thing I want to do next year is to go through all of my belongings and reduce what I can. I really want to do this before I move out so that I am not taking a lot of unwanted items that will need decluttering later.
Start a Capsule Wardrobe – To go along with decluttering, I think it would be really interesting to try and create a capsule wardrobe. This is not something I think would be particularly easy for me as I live between my parents’ house and my boyfriends’ parents house so this one may have to be postponed for when I am living in my own place. If anyone has any tips for creating a capsule wardrobe, please leave a comment below!
Holiday/Travelling – In 2019 I would really love to go and visit a country I have never been to before. This year we stayed in the UK for our holiday and it was a great trip, but I would like to experience a culture that I have not experienced before. Venice is always somewhere I have wanted to visit so maybe that can be my starting point!
Closer to the end of the year I will post an update with any other items that I have added to my list. If you have any suggestions that you think I should add to my list, or you just want to share your list below I would love to hear what you have to say!
