Evening Skincare Routine

My skincare routine has been all over the place over the last year with living between two houses and then moving house but I think I have finally found a good combination for my skin. I have swapped out a few bits for the autumn whilst my skin is more dry and I am really liking the routine I have set up.

Cleansing and Toning:

Lacura Vitamin C Hot Cloth Cleanser: This is a cheaper alternative to Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish that I used to use and love! It takes off all my makeup including waterproof mascara and smells really nice and citrusy!

No7 Purifying Clay Cleanser: After I have taken of my makeup I like to use this cleanser to double cleanser. It is a thicker consistency that the cleanser I use in the summer (Clinique Liquid Facial Soap) and doesn’t make my skin feel dry or tight whilst it is drier.

Clinique Clarifying Lotion in Combination/Oily: Once I have washed off the face wash I put a bit of this onto a cotton pad and run it over my face and neck. It just takes off any last bits of residue and makeup as well as exfoliating. I love this stuff and I really notice the difference in the brightness of my skin!

Lacura Healthy Glow Rose Oil: My skin tends to get really dry in the colder weather and this oil is amazing to put on under my moisturiser to boost the hydration. I do sometimes also use this is a cuticle oil which it is also lovely for!

Lacura Moisture Boost Moisturiser: Another Aldi skincare favourite! This is a really good dupe for the Clinique Moisture Surge and is a fraction of the price. This is great when paired with the oil and it isn’t too heavy on the skin.

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense: This one is interchangeable with the Aldi version but, if I want a proper hydration boost, I do occasionally treat myself to this one. It is a slightly thicker consistency and feels slightly more luxurious.
